Anchovies, anyone?
Entering Horseshoe Cove
I think the birds that roost in this cave are pigeon guillemots. They were grey-ish black and a bit of white. They fly and dive so fast that it was hard to see the distinctive red feet.
As we ventured farther into the big cave, we had to dodge sprays of brown gook from the birds in their nests. I thought it was poop, but J2 thought it was puke. However and whatever, it's a decent defense mechanism, as we kept our distance from the nests and did not stay long.
